Gabby is a junior in Fisheries and Wildlife with an emphasis in Wildlife. She has spent the last two summers working at summer camps, teaching kids about nature and outdoor skills.  After her recent field courses at the Yellowstone National Park and the Cloquet Forestry Center, she looks forward to working in the field in the future and learning more about her favorite mammals, including black bears, moose, and wolves.

Ryan Keenan – [email protected]

Ryan is a sophomore majoring in Fisheries and Wildlife with an emphasis in Wildlife. For the past two years, Ryan has worked summers with urban foresters identifying and removing ash trees infected with the invasive emerald ash borer in Illinois. During his freshman year, he studied mangrove ecosystems in Belize.

I am a junior in the FWCB major, with a fisheries emphasis.  I am currently working with Mark Hove on a UROP focusing on mussel research.  Some of my hobbies include fishing, hunting, hiking, and just being in the outdoors.  I am really excited about this year’s club events and I am also thrilled to meet new people in “da club”.

Amanda is a junior in Fisheries and Wildlife with an emphasis in Wildlife. She has worked the past two summers as a camp counselor teaching kids about environmental science, but is looking forward to spending future summers in the field working with animals that make fewer poop jokes. Her primary interests are terrestrial mammals as well as most marine animals from sea slugs to sharks.

Jess is a senior in the Fisheries and Wildlife major, with a focus in Conservation Biology. She loves the outdoors and adventures. Her favorite place is in a canoe. Her interests are aquatic ecosystems, teaching, and plants. She looks forward to a career of learning and teaching about the natural world and traveling.
