2024-2025 Officers

Henry

President - Henry Parks
(he/him/his) - [email protected]

Henry is a senior majoring in FWCB and ESPM who is interested in many aspects of FWCB. His favorite study topics are animal movement and large mammalian ecology with his favorite animals being cervids (moose, elk, deer, etc.). Henry has experience working/volunteering in agriculture, molecular genetics, fisheries, sustainability, and zoos - he values a breadth of knowledge and exposure. With some travel under his belt to New Zealand and Thailand, he brings an appreciation of global biodiversity to his work. Excitedly, he is looking forward to his Summer 2024 position with the MN DNR working as a Whitetail Deer Fawn Survival Technician. As president, he hopes to plan many fun, informative, and practical events to best serve his fellow students and connect a group of students with their shared passion of biodiversity and wildlife conservation.

Aubrey Wendorff

Secretary - Aubrey Wendorff
(they/she/he) - [email protected]

Aubrey is a senior in the EEB major pursuing a minor in FWCB. She is passionate about a wide range of ecosystems, but currently, she is working in the Finlay Lab on aquatic ecosystem conservation and the climate impacts on seasonal Chlorine concentrations. In her free time, she enjoys going on birding trips with the club, making jewelry, and playing board games with her friends. As an officer, Aubrey is excited to meet more undergraduates and to use her experiences to inspire and engage them in the club's activities!

Mackenzie Jenson
Vice President of Wildlife - Mackenzie Jensen
(she/her/hers) - [email protected]

Mackenzie is a senior in FWCB with a strong interest in wildlife health and disease. She currently works in the treatment room at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Minnesota, in the equine and large animal hospitals on campus, and helps out with bird brain CT scans on the side. She is accumulating a wide range of animal experience--both wild and domestic--in the hopes of either obtaining a graduate degree, DVM, or both. In her spare time, she enjoys wandering around nature, birding, and creating art and music.
As an officer, she hopes to bolster a sense of community and connectivity among students within the major, establishing relationships with professionals not only in the field but also among peers. Additionally, she looks forward to gaining crucial leadership skills and can't wait to get to know future club members!"
