Liz is a senior in the FWCB major with minors in Wildlife Care & Handling and Insect Science. They are an aspiring zookeeper driven to share their passion for and experiences with zoos/aquariums with their peers. Through this position, Liz hopes to ignite their same love for zookeeping in club members, and provide them with direct experiences in the zoo field to help get their feet in the door. As a second year officer of the FWCB Club, they cannot wait to continue to watch the club grow and thrive, and collaborate with fellow officers to make the 2025/2026 academic year the best one yet!
Hello! My name is Yazmin, and I'm a senior majoring in FWCB with a minor in marine biology. Raine is the Vice President of Wildlife for the FWCB Club, and is currently a senior within the major! She loves all things living, and has a very diverse background in animal care: Fish, reptiles, amphibians, mammals, birds - you name it, she’s worked with it!
Throughout the summer and semesters, she works as the GarLab’s wetlab manager, and takes pride in working with ancient species of fish (The best kind) and their diversity. Once again, Raine is also the club photographer, so expect to be seeing lots and lots of her pictures! She greatly enjoys spreading the beauty of nature and wildlife through photography, which pairs well with the FWCB club’s mission.
Other than her time at the university, she can most often be found around airplanes, whether she’s flying them or just taking pictures.

Izzie is one of the Ornithology officers for the FWCB club. They will be a senior studying FWCB and are super excited to get more involved with leadership in the club! Their favorite study animals are small mammals, lizards, and most of all, birds! They are super interested in the topics of animal behavior and large scale bird movement patterns. They have a special love for wetland and boreal bird species. Izzie has lots of experience in environmental education and worked as a summer camp naturalist for several years, as well as working one summer doing trail work for the DNR. This summer they will be working on a Green Heron GPS tagging project. They hope to go to grad school and eventually become a wildlife biologist. During the school year, Izzie works in the Biosci building caring for the Animal Diversity and Animal Behavior class animals. In their free time, they love hiking, backpacking, rock climbing, live music, and of course, birding! They hope to plan tons of fun bird related events for all skill levels and interest in birds, and maybe introduce some people into the amazing world of birding!
